Delete your Promise Tracker account
You can ask us to delete your Promise Tracker account and the data linked to it at any time, even if you have already uninstalled the app.
1. How to request deletion
- Email [email protected] from the Google account you signed in to Promise Tracker with.
- Use the subject "Promise Tracker – Delete my account".
- In the message, include the email address / Google account you used to sign in.
Data on your device: signing out in the app (My Account › Sign Out) removes your sign-in session from the device, and uninstalling the app (or clearing its storage) removes all data the app stores on your device.
2. What gets deleted
- Your account: the sign-in record in AWS Cognito.
- Your profile details: name, username and phone number.
- Feedback and activity records stored in Work Manager that are linked to your account.
3. What may be kept, and for how long
- Some records may be kept where the law requires it. Feedback and activity records in Work Manager are kept for no more than 24 months from the date they were created, and are kept longer only if needed to resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation.
- Your promises and people are stored only on your device; we never receive them. They are removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
4. Timeline
We complete deletion within 90 days of a verified request and send you a confirmation email when it is done.
